You're entitled to your opinion, but not your own facts. Mellencamp is far from a "one hit wonder." In fact, he charted 22 top 40 hits on the US Hot 100 and ten of those cracked the top ten. He also holds a record for the most #1's for a solo artist on the Mainstream Rock charts. He's sold over 40 million albums worldwide. He was inducted into both the Rock And Roll HOF and the Songwriters HOF. He's a Grammy winner (who's been nominated for over a dozen through the years). He's had a fabulous career and is anything but a "loser".
