Con un tiempo propio de su tierra, Kieran Tierney se ha estrenado hoy a las órdenes de Imanol Alguacil. Una vez firmado ayer su contrato con el club txuri urdin, el lateral escocés se ha incorporado a la disciplina del equipo y ha completado su primera sesión de entrenamiento en Zubieta. Tras las bienvenidas y saludos de rigor, el futbolista ha saltado al césped del campo José Luis Orbegozo bajo los aplausos de los aficionados que han querido acercarse hasta las instalaciones realistas y ver de cerca a nuestro nuevo jugador. A pesar de la lluvia, nadie se ha quedado sin una fotografía o autógrafo del lateral zurdo.

I attended the real Sociedad v real Madrid game yesterday. Kieran Tierney started the move leading to the first goal. I am a Celtic fan and it was great to see him play again.

Real Sociedad really lucked out here. KT is a world class LB. Still no idea why he’s not favoured here at Arsenal. Only last season, he was scouted by Man City

One dimensional as a player. Can tackle yes but going forward he can only do one thing. Run down to the by line and cross it in. He can cut inside, use his right foot or invert. He was what we needed at the time, a solid defender who gave his all but Arsenal has evolved. Tierney hasn’t.

Welcome Tierney👍. When David Silva was playing at La Real, he created the professional tensed vibes in the team to motivate his team to avoid careless mistakes in games. However, after he left the club, the vibes have been smoked... Then, many La Real players have started causing many easy errors with mostly ball losses during games... Now the team vibes seem too relaxed...

Arteta showed his true colours to me the way he humiliated KT. Out of first team training was unbelievable for a player who was being mooted as captain material a couple of years ago and always gave 100%. He would rather play Havertz at LB than Tierney. And for what? Because he's less comfortable inverting? How about being able to defend?!
