To be quite honest I feel like Ruth created her own nightmare. I understand that she wants to be the perfect Mother for her son but sex, sex is a natural thing especially for married couples. I feel like there needs be more communication amongst people because perhaps the problem isn't the fact that Ruth has had a son it could be a hormonal problem, something that even she herself cannot explain. We need to be open communicators and I feel like in our African homes we lack that so much. Just an example; I'm a female living with multiple disabilities and I remember asking my ex partner if we could experiment in the bedroom. I remember seeing that Glee and excitement in his face and he said to me been waiting for those words to come out of my mouth for the longest time because he knew that disabled people were promiscuous. I'm not promiscuous only open-minded but we've built these unrealistic stereotypes in our heads that we end up coming to stupid conclusions.
