I don't think they will replicate the opening ceremony of Paris 2024 through letting the delegates parade accessible to the public through river. Surely, the LA2028 organizing committee will move the Parade of Nations back to the stadium (hopefully SoFi Stadium) and people in LA who might be unable to afford tickets inside the stadium will just go watch it in TV instead because of traffic.

Of course, I will tune in. But I also prefer in the next 4 years. I will be there in person for real in America for the Olympic games instead of watching NBC. I'll do all both! After all, the games are back in America. This is going to be exciting.

@@alexbronynerfman I am born and raised in San Diego, I was 4 in 1984 and watched the torch barer go by. During the Atlanta games I didn't think to catch the torch barer in SD because I had forgot about it. This time I will watch it run through SD before the games start. I am looking forward to heading up to L.A. to watch the games live, and just to be in that Olympic atmosphere will be incredible! Can't wait!

Breakdancing isn't even something they invented, while lacrosse, baseball/softball AND flag football are all American creations and sports practiced at pro level almost exclusively in the US. Breaking is practiced literally everywhere in the world, for no money. lol

Most of the LA2028 introduced sports are barely played by more than a handful of nations (eg. cricket, flag football, lacrosse, softball), not really the olympic spirit. Also, there is simply no way that LA can handle closing some key avenues for cars while running smoothly a bus system for tourists and locals, no way.

We don't need diversity as the main point of these games, we need Unity!! LA28 is lazy and unstable and would be a disgrace. The 28 bid logo was breathtaking, so I am hoping they have a real logo by 2028 and not the un inspiring and unstable LA28 crap. The Olympics are not about diversity, they are about unity. L.A. need to stay faithful to that!
