I think I'm leaning towards the Trek version of this pack with it's option to devide the inside with direct access to the lower section

Just come across your reviews and they are excellent. My airzone Pro 35-45 has just arrived for a 7 week trip through Spain and (despite it apparently dating from 2020 stock) I seem to have chosen extremely well. I now live on the coast of the south of France where good hiking shops are either non-existant or have extremely limited choice. So, boy, do I miss shops like yours. Need to buy some mid-height walking boots next and have to order them online to try so no proper fitting possible and my feet are really narrow. Ho hum. Thanks for your full and very useful explanation on the pack.

Looks like they've changed this bags design a lot in the last 2 years. Liked the look of the one featured in the video but went to my local retailer to have a look at the current version and has more features in common with the trek model which I'm not that keen on.

In my humble opinion, having a side zipper to access the interior of the backpack is useless. I think that the previous version had a long zipper underneath the front cover of the backpack, so you could open it and access easily anything inside. That was much more usefull.

Awesome Review, as usual! May i ask one thing: what are the differences between the air zone Pro and the air zone Trek?
@trekitt4 жыл бұрын
The main difference is the pocket/storage configuration. The Pro has top & side entry, whereas the Trek has top entry, a U-shaped zip on the front of the pack and an internal divider, creating a separate section at the bottom of the bag. The Pro has an elasticated bungee system to secure extra gear, whereas the Trek has a stretchy front pocket. Other than that, they both use the same backsystem, have the same fabrics and fit incredibly similarly. Kind regards, Harry.

Does this comes in size like all the other lowe pine backpacks? Women's S and Men's M and L? Wondering if also the back adjustment ranges are the same. 🙏 thanks

Some of the updated models from Lowe Alpine do come in gender specific options and have adjustable back lengths, but some of the features may differ from this older AirZone Pro.

Hey, thanks for the review. I'm leaning towards this one. I have a very specific need in which I tend to lug around my Thinkpad with me on my day hikes and get some work in. Do you think my laptop would fit in the bladder pouch? It's 329mm x 227mm x 17.9mm / 12.95" x 8.94" x 0.7".

I'm afraid we don't stock this bag anymore so I can't physically check, sorry! If I were to guess though I would suggest it wouldn't fit. I think the sleeve would be too narrow.

@@trekitt do you have any recommendations btw? I'm looking for something similar to this one or osprey Kestrel which can fit a weekend worth of supplies but also pack a laptop well. I was looking at deuter trail 30, but it's a bit small. Would be great if you can think of anything. Anyways, thanks for your time and help. :)

@@recognishan Hey Nishan, I'd recommend contacting our customer service team who will be able to help you with this. They're situated about 5 metres from a lot of the packs we stock so they'll be able to stick a laptop in and see what fits! Their email is support@trekitt.co.uk

I just bought one of these bags, having previously bought a 45-55 litre Lowe Alpines. They're great products, but I'm curious as to why there arent clips on the straps for the hydration tube? There is a small fabric hook on the strap but it doesnt allow much scope for the tube to be fed back around into. Any obs or tips on this? Thanks
@trekitt2 жыл бұрын
You're right, there is just one small loop on each shoulder strap. This hasn't personally been an issue for me, but I'm sure you could pop a piece of velcro around your shoulder strap to give you more room if needs be. Harry
@brianfarrell39872 жыл бұрын
@@trekitt Thanks Harry. As they say, it's not a deal breaker, and the positives about this great bag outweigh this one little negative. I'll try the velcro or a similar solution :)

what's your view between this Pro and the Airzone Trek version? Which is the better pack?
@trekitt4 жыл бұрын
Neither is necessarily better than the other, they're just slightly different depending on personal preference. The main difference is the pocket/storage configuration. The Pro has top & side entry, whereas the Trek has top entry, a U-shaped zip on the front of the pack and an internal divider, creating a separate section at the bottom of the bag. Much like yourself, I like to overpack for a day on the hills or on the mountains. Do you prefer thus suspension system over the Osprey AG or feel that they are comparable? Are you sure you don’t ship to the US? I got my Trekitt limited edition water bottle from you. Thanks!
@trekitt4 жыл бұрын
Osprey's AG backsystem is still one of the best for carrying super heavy loads over long distances, but this AirZone system feels brilliant for slightly lighter loads where you may be moving a little more quickly. Once upon a time we did ship to the US, but we only deliver to Europe at the moment. Kind regards, Harry.

Trekitt well, I will have to look into this pack then. Thanks Harry!
@catiterhenetar91893 жыл бұрын
That was a very informative video, thanks! I have a question though. In Osprey Kyte there is somewhat similar regulation system (there is a back frame and behind it a piece with shoulders that moves up and down). I wonder how it feels on the back in Lowe Alpine - can you feel it on your shoulder blades (that horizontal part of the frame)? Is it hard or soft finished? I’m just sending back the Kyte because of it. Unfortunately can’t find 35-40 backpack with fixed length or different kind of fit.
@trekitt3 жыл бұрын
Personally, I can't feel any discomfort when wearing the AirZone. It's pretty soft and the fact that the backpanel is suspended away from the body of the rucksack helps a lot. If you can, try a few packs on in succession with some weight in; it'll make a world of difference. Harry

which backpack would you recommend for Camino de Santiago hiking? I need something light (approx. 1 kg/2lbs) in the 40 liter range
@trekitt3 жыл бұрын
Adam, my response to these type of questions is the same as for footwear. The most important thing is to make sure that your pack fits you correctly and is suitable for the intended purpose. My best advice is go to your local Outdoor Specialist Retailer (when they are open!) and get a proper pack fitting, they will also be able to advise on the correct pack. Also, check out our video on pack fitting kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZ2Uqn2XoLCjY5Y. Thanks for watching. Paul.

The AirZone ND33-40 will most likely be the better option as this is female specific. It does depends on your back length, though, so best to try both on if you can. Harry
