Best line from the finale ~ when Treenie told Bish that he was a beautiful man, but a piece of sh*t. ;) Best line from the series is when Coco told Hope that he saw something beautiful and thought of her. :) Sad to see EZ’s demise, but his FATE was sealed the night his Mom died. Glad that Angel found his way out. In that respect, EZ did succeed. THANKS to the entire cast and crew ~~~ for a fantastic five season ride.

I'm grateful for the 5 seasons and all the hard that was put into this show. I just wished we had another season to tie it up better, this last season felt too rushed and it didn't deliver like I thought it would. Episodes 3 and 6 are skippable, the Galindo story line should have ended in season 2 or 3, it robbed way too much screen time from the Mayans, the MC grimey action it needed to be for this to be on par with SOA. For this season to be about "war" with SAMDINO it was really nothing it had been built up to, just a 3 minute scene at a bar, that was lame. I hope the writers and Elgin especially learns from his mistakes here and creates a better product going forward cause Mayans MC had so much potential and yall dropped the ball

Oh shut up . They excelled it writing and turned it beautifully in the show . Elgin did a great job putting this together as a conclusion for what little time they had. Originally, it was suppose to end different because we could have had another season but everything changed after FX was sold and they had to make changes . At the end , it left us wanting more and more and even I thought we still needed to see more characters we didn’t get to see resolved . I mean , they left those unanswered questions open for a possibility of a sequel and prequel . Word has it , something is being worked on which will use whatever left on Mayans and be used as the next chalet of a whole new story of course being titled different but was these keys events and used to get our asnerrs we never got in Mayans .

That final episode of season five is probably one of the greatest series finales ever! It was extremely satisfying! Full of surprises and heartbreak. I loved every second of it! Elgin did a fantastic job with this series.

Sutter or no Sutter, to me it does not matter. The point of Mayans was for it to be it's own show. So many pointless story lines and filler episodes that had no real value when it came down to the last episode. The best scene(s) of the episode was EZ and Angel out on their bikes one last time and talking about better times... Why couldn't we get more scenes like that? More stories that actually mattered in the end? The Reyes brothers and Miguel being related was absolutely pointless. This cast, due to Elgin's, or other people's negligence, was unable to show us what they were capable of and a majority couldn't reach the potential they had when the show first started and to no fault of their own... I'm so disappointed and sad for the cast. I'm sure they were hoping for more ways to showcase their talent. Might be controversial of me to say but: SOA remains king and Mayans had everything for it to be just as, if not better than SOA. Thank you to the cast either way. You guys did your best despite the higher up's preventing you from being the best version of yourselves.

This show went down IN FLAMES the second Sutter was fired. Elgin James completely went the opposite direction of what Sutter had planned. Mayans was suppose to be its own shown but organically help bring the story of The First Nine to the forefront in the next chapter of the SOA universe, Elgin & FX I believe purposefully went the other way which speaks volumes about the respect they had for the man who created the universe we all love. I can only prey that Sutter is able to complete his universe with “The First Nine” and “SAMCRO” stories

What I would like to see, and I don't know if it is too late, but as part of any DVD/Blu-Ray featurette, they have JD and Clayton sit down together and revisit the pivotal scenes throughout the series and see and hear their thoughts and reactions. Having gone back and watched episodes of season 1 after watching the finale, the foreshadowing was there.

Haven't heard anything that made me want to watch this season either, and heard a lot of irritated, disappointment fans for these final few episodes.
