I don't understand people who made their houses next to a rice field. Don't they know about the snakes? My grandmother's house is separated from a rice field by two irrigation canals and a small road but still has a snake problem. And how about mosquitoes in an open concept like that? You definitely don't want to spend the first month hospitalized for dengue fever

I live next to rice paddies and dont encounter them, and I would love some pet snakes, but been living over a year and havent come across them.

why are you afraid of snakes ? snakes will never be a threat if we don't disturb them, snakes will only attack humans if they feel their lives are threatened, they are cute and good animals. 😁

Only seen one snake so far. We walk our kids across the rice fields to school and sometimes see lizards. But they are harmless. No dengue yet, thank fully 🙏

Hi!! We lease the land from a local and the rice fields are owned by him also. He is there each day looking after it. Working. We have a great relationship. It’s unique to Bali and is great the locals still retain the land long term 🙏
