The kitchen in the first home is amazing for a 2,500sqft home! Putting an office in that third car garage also makes the main house feel so much larger!
@houstontexasliving3318 күн бұрын
That kitchen really sounds like a showstopper! A spacious kitchen in a 2,500 sqft home can definitely make the whole place feel more luxurious and functional. And turning that third-car garage into an office is such a great idea-it maximizes space and keeps the main living areas open and airy. It sounds like you’ve got a great eye for making the most of every square foot! Are you considering similar layouts for your future build? We can definitely look into designs that incorporate both a spacious kitchen and flexible office spaces. Let us know if you want to explore more ideas!

For me: Kitchen; Primary suite/ bathroom; high ceiling; the office /study; the exterior look.
@houstontexasliving3318 күн бұрын
Got it! Those are all fantastic features to look for in a home. A spacious kitchen, luxurious primary suite, and high ceilings create a wonderful living environment, while an office/study and great exterior design add both functionality and curb appeal. Are you looking for more options with these features, or is there a specific type of design you'd like to explore further for your future home? I'm not in TX but I watch your videos for ideas for my future next home build. Looking for 8 ft solid core doors, seconday bedrooms at least 14x14 with 12 - 14 ft ceilings and an ensuite for each bedroom, which is hard to find outside of custom.
@houstontexasliving3318 күн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your dream home details! It sounds like you're aiming for a spacious, luxury feel with high-end features, which are often found in custom homes. You’re right-ensuites for each bedroom and those high ceilings can be hard to find in non-custom builds, but there are still builders who might offer those options in some upscale communities or custom floor plans. We can definitely highlight builders or communities that offer designs closer to what you're looking for in Texas! Would you like us to help find similar options or tips on how to incorporate those features into a future build? Let us know!

The first house Is insane. Looks like a 75ft lot design. But kn a 45!?!
@houstontexasliving3318 күн бұрын
That’s amazing! It’s impressive when a home feels so spacious that it gives off the vibe of being on a larger lot, like the 75ft lot design, but actually sits on a 45ft lot. Clever design and smart use of space can really make a difference in maximizing the feel of a home. Would you like to see more homes that maximize space like this or dive deeper into how these designs are achieved? Let me know how I can assist!

only thing i dont like if you get a nosey neighbor imagine how annoying haha
@houstontexasliving3318 күн бұрын
That’s definitely something to consider when looking at homes! In some neighborhoods, especially those with smaller lots or more compact layouts, homes can feel close together, which can affect privacy. If privacy is a priority for you, it might be worth exploring homes with larger lots or looking for communities that offer more distance between properties. Would you like suggestions for areas or specific builders that focus on more spacious layouts and privacy? Let me know, and we can help you narrow it down!
@houstontexasliving3318 күн бұрын
Haha, totally understand! A nosy neighbor can definitely make things a little less peaceful. It’s always nice to find a neighborhood with good boundaries and respectful neighbors. If privacy is important, you might want to look for homes with larger yards or ones in communities that have more space between houses, plus some solid landscaping or privacy fences. If you're concerned about this, we can help you explore neighborhoods where you’re likely to have more space and quieter surroundings. Let us know what you're looking for, and we’ll make sure to guide you toward the best options! 😊

Carpet on the staircase? Don’t be asthmatic!
@houstontexasliving3318 күн бұрын
I totally understand where you're coming from! Carpet on the staircase can trap dust, allergens, and other particles, which can be a concern for anyone with asthma or allergies. Many people prefer hardwood, laminate, or tile for stairs because they’re easier to clean and maintain. If you're building or customizing your Carter plan, it could be worth considering alternative materials for the stairs. Would you like some suggestions for flooring options that might work better for your health and lifestyle? Let me know how I can help!
