Sold out of Walmart because it’s not going to get me to where I want to be right now. Added SBUX, LVMUY, SCHD and I surpassed the $25/month dividend to $27! 🎉😂.

Nothing like beating the market and SCHD Ryne this month, right? Glad to see that you've been keeping pace with the markets this year too. This month was a funny one, and the market just doesn't seem to want to take a break. I was happy to see Realty income take off. Its a good reminder of what happens with O when rates decrease. If there is a reversal again, I'm not going to be shy with adding to O. Excellent update

Thanks man! I decided to sell AAPL because I thought Visa would be a better grower and an overall better dividend growth stock in the coming years, so I wanted to just go heavier into that

That's a good question, and kind of a complicated one. It can depend on a myriad of factors such as valuation, allocation in the portfolio, and what other options are available at the time

My first buy of SBUX was at 87 long after everyone on KZbin said it was a steal at 95... Bought more along the way down, BROS warning today doesn't exactly bode well going forward. Thinking of redeploying SBUX $$ to PG or V.

Loving those Visa and Starbucks buys man!! Its such a strong company, amazing moat, theres over 4 billion Visa debit/credit cards in the world, they collect fees on all of those, absolutely great stuff man!

Man Visa really is hard to beat...I'm considering just really honing in on them in August and dedicating all of my contributions to buying more V. We'll see what happens. Starbucks has been staying really low, so that's definitely tempting. But it's close to becoming too overweight in the portfolio so I want to be careful with how much I buy

@@chris-rios Don't mind at all :) We are all here to help each other. I've started investing in mid 2021. And since then simply been mindful of every dollar I make and how I can use it to make my portfolio grow. Cut down on stuff I don't really need and saved that money for extra shares each month. I'm trying to stay committed to stocks and etf's that yield over 4% and not much more than 12% to avoid yield traps. I mostly hold etf's like SPYI and QQQI and strong dividend companies like Realty Income, Verizon, Altria, Main street capital and others with consistent distributions.

I wouldn't touch PBDC...the expense ratio is almost 7%, which is absurd. For comparison, SCHD's expense ratio is only 0.06%

@@rynewilliams so the expense ratio that is shown on brokerage is not exclusively the management %, which is 0.75%. What’s shown is the Total Expense Ratio that includes the management fees. A bit confusing. I’m not sure if the retail consumer pays 0.75% or the total 7%.

Basically zero i think. I did halve my position in BTI to put it into AMZN. I also planned on building a full position in ADC. But it went up 20% in no time, while V had a little crash. Needless to say i DCA'd down into V after i cancelled my plans with ADC (and sold my 20 shares starter position).

Underperforming the S&P 500 by two percent over the past year is pretty amazing actually. In the past 12 months the S@P has rallied to the tune of about 3 full years of it's average growth. You'll definitely be outperforming if this current correction deepens much more.
