The alcohol spray? Palettes are cleaned on site when working as well, I just do a deeper clean at home because I’m able to dedicate more time to them. In this video, I just came home from work and was not able to get to that yet!

I thought this video wouldn't be for me, but glad I put it in my playlist. Its nice knowing products you trust to use professionally. I have heard so so many talk about that friendcation palette, but it must have come out before I got started playing in makeup. I probably don't need it, but the love everyone has gets me!! I also love seeing your professionalism (and how you grew up!! - don't see that as much these days of people in their 20's.) but along with being professional, you are hilarious!! I adore the dry humor!! thankyou!! So any blessings and love in all your business ventures - wish you could come give me a makeover!! Or atleast show and tell what is best for me!! Have a beautiful weekend!!
@ThatsSoYin4 жыл бұрын
There have been TOO many times where I was working and the artists don’t take sanitization seriously. I scream every time and I want to tear my hair out!! The friendcation palette goes on sale at ulta every so often for about 40-50% off so maybe it’s worth it for that price! And I’ll also just toss this in, but I do offer virtual makeup and skincare classes where we discuss your makeup or skincare dilemma and I help guide you through it one on one!
@jenm4734 жыл бұрын
@@ThatsSoYin I've seen hair stylists do it, and yes, us customers notice. So Friendcation really is all that still? I was hoping you'd say different, lol!! Please let me know next time you do those classes and if I have the budget, I'll do it, but you may be shocked at me horrible lack of knowledge, even with all the videos I watch. Mainly just too tired to care, but I finally got a diagnosis and may be able to get help now. They weren't listening and thought it was just all my other health stuff, but I know my body and have always fought thru those, this was different.Thankfully that means I still know it a little, and maybe I can have some energy within a few months I pray. Hitting the bed soon (its 1:30in the morning here, lol). Many blessings!!!

A lot of people think that freelance artists are not as clean as a contract artist, but Ive seen contract artists work a few times and seen some nasty stuff. Like uhhhhh. I also hate when clients start grabbing stuff out of the kit and using it, like an eyeliner or mascara like if you sit still I will not poke you in the eye, I promise, also, toss it in the trash when you’re done.

I love your humour! About sanitary and tarte shape tape ones, so enjoyable to watch! 🥰I can watch your videos all day long. I also seen some of your replies in some comments and I do agree. I used to work in a company and they have a brand as their sponsor and host a beauty class. I do makeup professionally so I bring my own sanitary kit, brushes, firstvaid kit just in case me and my colleagues encounter allergies, disposables, and some products I know I am comfortable with. And gurl, they won't allow me at all to use them like wtf. They only provide one single sponge (the square sponge we usually get from purchasing a two way cake powder) to use for four people and did not clean the products well. Some of them even has a fungus in it and I am horrified. Don't ever start with the mascara. I am legit crying and brimming in anxiety. They also dripping product like crazy and touching everyone all over and did not even clean their hands afterwards. And she (one of the instructors) even dare to took my own foundation brush and laid it on dirty table, took the dirty sponge and dab it roughly at my face ans said that I do it wrong and if I need her services for graduation or wedding I can call her up. I was like, I can call myself thank you and please stop beating my face pls, it is nasty. I ended up washing my face afterwards and gain so many acnes I need two whole months to calm them down.
@ThatsSoYin4 жыл бұрын
GURL YOU DID NOT GET ACNE FOR WEEKS I AM SCREAMINGGGG. STOP THAT. Sanitization isn’t even that hard and can literally be learned in minutes. I guess some people are so accustom to applying makeup on themselves and don’t care if brushes touch the counter, but forget that you’re working with a client!!
@vlakz33084 жыл бұрын
@@ThatsSoYin They do work for brands as marketer and on counter, and in my country they did not pay much care in sanitation. Only freelance ones do or even some of them did not do it too. I thank my mum and uncles to let me take a Cosmetology in Paul Mitchell or I won't know at all when I went back to my own country. P.s. I really do😭 I am terribly sensitive over bacterias and their nasty friends (hence the ongoing acne 😞) thus enhanced with my own OCD, I always keep my things sanitary and downsized to hell 🥰

Hey girl! I love that you are striving to keep things sanitary! I just wanted to let you know the standard is 70% alcohol, not 90%. 90% dries too fast to actually sanitize.

Can’t you charge them more for using luxury and high end products? Also do you ever offer them to bring there own foundation or makeup they have if they are more comfortable?
@ThatsSoYin4 жыл бұрын
I could charge more, but that would mean I’d have to have a whole separate kit for drugstore products which is a hassle because I used to do that years ago! I always want my clients to feel comfortable so the option for them to bring their products is always open! Through my years of working, I’ve only had about 2 clients who ever brought in anything extra.

Omg u have the same name as my Beautiful Princess Jasmine! Yassss girl I feel u, u won't believe how unhygienic some ppl are, it's absolutely disgusting! I Alway's carry those disposable mascara wands n doe foot lip applicator's for each client, Never use the same applicator's plus I think it was from Amazon I got disposable plastic lipstick scrapers so u just scrape bullet lipstick on to a palette n use. I also carry 6-7 of the same eye or face brushes so each client gets their own ones Never use the same brushes on everyone!! U do NEED to keep hand sanitiser's, makeup wipe's n anti bacterial wipe's so Hygiene is Key! When I first started my case was one of those metal cases with abt 4-5 compartment's so I had diff compartment for diff product's n the bottom compartment was for big bulky item's like hair product's even though I don't do hair but like u I can do simply style's I'm just a pro Mua but Not a hairstylist! I learnt as I went coz things aren't alway's the same n u start to invest more in product's as u learn n adapt. Palette's are a good way to start even concealer that come in palette's are a good idea n then build as u go. New subbie from London, just Love ur vibe girl keep it up! 👍❤️
