Great vid as always. Strange mouse slip indeed. I have a video request: You mentionned the bayonet attack back in the days as a response to the kings Indian. Can you do a video on it? Or recommend a good resource to learn it? (Not much on KZbin)

After F6+, it would've been easy pickin's knocking his pawns off, his rook is completely paralyzed and cannot escape. His King can't move forward either, just backwards. That was a "Right Throttling" Andras! Cheers from Vegas! Play Sham 69 music for me! Huzzah!

The computer analysis seems to show that IM an GM play is all good, but some good is still better than other.

Pardon my ignorance, but is there any reason why 12...Nxg4 doesn't work?

That’s what I kept thinking, why not take with the knight? Ofcourse Stockfish saw about 50 moves further than me 🙄.

You mentioned in one of your old videos that online tactics trainers was a waste of time but you changed your mind and said (to the comment) see my latest video. Since it was a while ago I cannot locate it. Could you point me to the video about this? Thanks and great content

Must have been on my old channel. Some online tactic platforms have come a long way but they are still inferior to books.

@@ChessCoachAndras it was on this channel. I think it was on your book review 1700-2100. What books would you recommend for checkmate patterns? I am 2100 player but I really struggle at finding the relationship between either finding a checkmate pattern and then manufacturing that position on the board. And also in game I dont always just see the pattern and know type thing I have to work it put etc.

@@jamiewilby2682 I am finding the Chessable online pattern books very useful. The repetition means the patterns stick and I am much stronger solving mate positions. Before I tried a slew of apps but like the book format with more examples.

I was screaming knight takes G4. No doubt because I was looking at a tree, while Andras became preoccupied by the forest.
