Used to live within biking distance of Burg Nanstein. Beautiful area with some great bike trails in the surrounding hills.

In the 60s the castle was a favorite Saturday walk from LAMC for my friends and I. There was a cannonball from the 1523 siege stuck in a face of red sandstone, but the last time I was there it was gone. Bratwurst and pommes frites stands satisfied the hunger of junior high boys.
