Thank you for reminding people that it is the lifestyle & journey that is important. I worked for 50 years in one job( yep loved the tradie field of food processing so much I never felt the need to leave) but am now retired and have a 19'6" off road van. 2nd hand, but it suits us. You are correct, it is all about escaping & meeting new people. Well done.

How good are the double Front windows! Free camps, you can leave the top open. People don't realise, with huge windows, usually leave lower half of blind shut if you like privacy. 1st gust of wind, you need to shut the whole window. Coming up 7 years with a Wonderland. Still not disappointed :)

I like the idea of having a instant hot water system, though I think having a recirculating system that returns the water back to the tank would work well while it’s getting up to temperature for those off grid times.

Instant hot water is awesome, having the option to adjust the temperature is bloody brilliant. And Steph absolutely loves it because she can have her long hot showers when we book into caravan parks, which really isn’t that often but still makes her happy ☺️

LOVE THE INTERIOR guys, so warm and inviting. I think this is the best tones I've seen so far, even down to the shade of leather you've chosen (what's the name of the colour?), and I love the inclusion of the front window to allow the breeze to flow. Lots of thoughtful detail, such as the floor of the shower cubicle to help the water run out. As for the composting toilet, I'm keen to see how you feel about it down the track with regards to cleaning the inside out/wiping it down, emptying the wee regularly and knowing what you are going to do before you sit down. haha. ENJOY!

Nice work with the new Van enjoy. Good to see it looks like you had a budget you had to work to. The spring suspension will work well and less drama than the air suspension if it plays up. It will be good to see what you think of the van in a few months. Stick it into the so called experts out there most of them probably don't own a van or never free camp off the track. Live the dream 😁👍

Thanks mate, yea I think sticking with the non air bag setup is the way to go. We have heard of stories around the traps with bags letting go or collapsing in route places.. stick to what I know I 🤔

@@LostTribeAdventures yes I have a Sunland caravan with steel springs cruise master and have never had any problems apart from replacing a couple of worn out shockys. Mate has the air bag one rock through an air line and stuffed for two days getting a new bit of air line out in the scrub. Keep up the good work and live the dream 😁.
