totally the same, but i had my 11th birthday in a hotel. It was a hotel a few blocks away from my house and me and 3 other of my friends shared two beds while my mom slept on the tiny couch, we had a cake that my mom and I had made myself and the goodie bags were just fuzzy socks, the fanciest thing we had there was the hotel’s breakfast buffet! 😂

Im not a millionaire but every year I get my daughter a suite for her and her friends and some big special fun thing. Ive done a horse and carriage to pick them up for a ride around downtown, I took them to see Billie Eilish for her 10th, Ive taken her to ride dolphins when she was obsessed with that dolphin Winter, last year we did a hotel suite and haunted houses, we've done a limo all kinds of fun stuff. I do all that because we don't have an extended family to make a big birthday party so we do hotel suites and always something cool for the girls. My daughter isnt grateful at all but the memories are special and I hope one day she realizes how much we do for her and her brothers.
