Inside Out 2 Movie Review

I loved Inside Out, both one and two. I, too, got emotional when Bing Bong died. But I think Joy was more of a villain from the standpoint of refusing Riley to feel sadness, leading to her sadness being repressed outside of Riley despite Joy wanting what was best for her. In the second film, she is almost done with 8th grade and going into high school. Personally, I, too, didn't keep any friends from high school; there were just a few who were always kind to me, and I ditched the toxic friends. If you know, you know. 4:13 I was a proud church kid with a strong prayer life, but you made me LOL at that. I like, too, how they kept her hobbies and showed a realistic depiction of puberty and growing up and how you can keep old friends while making new ones. I love, too, how they showed anxiety so openly and rawly. As someone who really suffered from anxiety back then, I sobbed in the theater, really feeling for her as I've been through similar situations.

Inside Out 1 is in my top 3 favorite Pixar movies of all time (the other two are Toy Story 3 and Wall-E)... I have a soft spot for Inside Out since im fascinated by the human condition, psychology, and what makes us, "us"... I just watched Inside Out 2 tonight and I personally liked the first one way more... I get that they were tapping into the awkward teen years, however it was rather one note and felt like a tough watch... I give it a 6 out of 10... They could have tapped into other coming of age themes such as her first crush, or stress of getting good grades, or balancing studying vs partying... oh well... Btw, any possibility of any new Angela videos? Shes my favorite 😊

@ryanaromero lol everyone keeps asking for the Angela character to make a comeback. I feel guilty for having not brought her back.. I have 2 obstacles keeping me from bringing her back... and maybe I should make a video asking people for tips and ideas.. lol I can present my obstacles to people... so, for one thing: annual passes to Disney. We don't have them right now, but we do have annual passes to Universal Studios... Disney is just too expensive right now, plus, our family is over the moon excited about Epic Universe. My kids love the roller coaster rides at universal too. For years we enjoyed Disney, since they were babies, but outside of my KZbin life, we've really enjoyed Universal. Could you see Angela at universal?What do you think? Another problem is the ninja turtle shirt Angela used to wear...I don't have it anymore!! I'm so, so, sad! I was watching Marie Kondo, who she's that cleaning lady who tells you to get rid of everything, so I had gotten rid of the Angela shirt, which is sad! I like the store Hot Topic, so technically, I could get a new shirt for Angela, but would it be too hard to accept her new shirt even if it's not identical? Third, story... I have a couple ideas, but part of me would want to present them to everyone, to see what y'all think.. Then there's also my age thing: in real life, I'm going gray and to be honest, I love it. I don't want to dye my hair at all. I am all about wearing my gray hair with "pride," 🙈🤣 so a wig, should she wear one?? Okay, I feel like I need to make a video about all of my fears on bringing Angela back to life and then discuss it with everyone.. get a bunch of ideas..

@ryanaromero I wanted to reply on the other topics as well, as for Inside Out 1, YES! the human condition and psychology! I love how they present those themes in such a fascinating way!!! You feel every emotion! Yes, the first one is better in my opinion, but some people say they like the 2nd one better! 🙈 it was tough to watch, I think, because of her anxiety, and though I appreciated how well they captured it, which to me, it was very well done, but it's like: do I want to feel those emotions again? Because I already feel like I've dealt and or am dealing with enough anxiety in my life, why add to it? I thought about first crush, but I've noticed Disney has especially been trying to move away from love stories. I think for so long, a lot of people complained about the Disney love stories, for just, being too unrealistic.. the idea that someday your prince will come and you'll live happily ever after, never happened for so many dreamers and many people are jaded. I keep hearing that the dating world is TOUGH! I feel sorry for single people, honestly!

For me it was seeing a messy complicated new teen have to learn how to control her emotions and fears the way I did and learn how to appropriately respond to complex situations for the first time. When I was younger I had a hard time with bullies and fitting in on top of messy family life and new school so I related to Riley in my own way if that males sense but loved that they showed it's ok to not be perfect or have it all figured out.
