It really worries me seeing a high speed cut off wheel being used without any safety glasses. When those cut off discs go wrong there's no time to blink and miss the ballistic debris.

Agreed! I've had one let go whilst wearing safety glasses, and still a segment hit part of my face. That really hurt! I wouldn't risk it at all! The issue is, that like myself all these guys are amateur modellers to begin with(albeit stunningly talented ones) and they progress to making a living and remaining their own boss. As such the amateur approach to health and safety remains often. They've not had a boss say "Wear the protection or don't work for me! If you lose an eye it's my company that suffers!" Amazing work though....

Thanks for sharing this. It's really cool to see models like this go together. I only stumbled onto your 70k video yesterday. I had a dream of making a super realistic 1/6 scale SU-35. But after some intense research, the costs were staggering and what I wanted to do was just not possible, all-aluminum, axial turbines and so on. If I were Elon Musk and had a group of engineers to put on it as a side project, then maybe, but alas I am but a mere mortal.

Alexandros Afouxenidis Because as expensive and complex as a model like this is, it’s only a fraction of the cost of a full size aircraft and nowhere near as complex as wading through the rules, regulations and certifications required when building a full size aircraft
