This obviously makes sense as billionaires have so much excess cash, that $300 or $500 million doesn't make a huge dent in a bank balance of $13.8 billion in Roman Abramovich's case.
The Chelsea Football Club Owner's new yacht, dubbed "Solaris" is world class and has all the gadgets to prove it.

Since fresh water is precious while sailing, they should have put a pump to suck salty water up & fill up the pool with sea water which is good for the skin, & overall increases megaboat's efficiency.

I still consider Roman's Pelorus one of the most beautiful yachts ever built. The Eclipse is also a masterpiece of naval engineering as well as his latest project Solaris, but in my opinion not as stylish as Pelorus.

Well if it is Abramovich's dream yacht it can now be seized/arrested in most ports in the world. So I guess the icebreaking feature will be important as it nears Vadavalastcoch (spelling sorry) or the arctic circle. People! I have questions about Roman Ambramovich's yacht, "Solaris." It's said to have an anti-missile system. Can this be confirmed or denied? There are many superlatives surrounding this yacht and it's impossible to separate fact from fiction. It's against maritime law to have an anti-missile system. If Solaris did have an anti-missle system the yacht would be a military vessel owned by the Russian State. There's murmurs too that this yacht is really owned by Vladimir Putin and not Roman Ambramovich. The only way to find out is to have this yacht seized to verify the truth. In the meantime we can only speculate. What's your take?

Yes, and it’s nearly always allowed by the country they choose to visit. Very unlikely we will ever see “Solaris” seized so we cannot verify this entirely.
