Yes it vital to be able to play with and without the ball. On both sides of the pitch. When I use to coach, l would use this analogy. If your elderly grandparents were in the house with you. Would you allow a thief, to come in and rub your grandparents in front of you? They reply no, they would defend the house, to keep their grandparents and house safe. That is the mentality that the team must have as a unit. To be champions.

Speaking as someone who’s academic background is Sports Coaching; there is so much here that is excellent to see, the creating(/building) of patterns, the expectations, the reinforcement of what you do when X happened, and then the response when Y does. Interesting to note; Shaw as the LCB was being deployed here, he wants Kobbie doing that Box2Box/Segundo Volante role, Casemiro next to him as the sitter. Mount higher up as a 10, Malacia as LWB (I am curious whether his slowing of the ball is a tactical instruction or a mental response to his injury; I’m tempted to say the former); Amad as a 10. Evans CCB.

It also depends on if the managers or others in the club can decide what can be shared and recorded for public to see....what is not shared to the world doesn't mean it was not done...
@ludwigstenberg1050Ай бұрын
That's not really how it works. Usually they only allow less tactically oriented footage to be shown, e.g. warm-up, rondos etc. If you think the other coaches have just done rondos and jogging, think again. It's just that footage like this is rare to see. Very enjoyable to get the chance.
