For those who want to see a ton of Golden Medallion Trees hit up the business park where Sunex INC is in Carlsbad (lionshead Ave) I was surprised when I saw soo many planted there!

I love this tour! I used to live in North Park very close to the South Park border. This was way before it had all of this built up…in the mid 2000’s. No one knew South Park existed. I really enjoyed seeing how much South Park grew from when I lived in that area. 🫶🏻

@@Jaycation Buona forchetta and kindred are half a block away so I’d have to give it up to them. I mean you’ve had BF before; you know it’s legit some of the best Italian in SD! Their rosemary focaccia bread is only a few bucks and stupid good. Kindred is a vegan restaurant and surprisingly good. Their “meat and cheese” board is shockingly tasty and I cannot recommend enough to try their appetizer “Fried and Pickled”, with a side of ranch. It’s a mix of fried pickles and pickled cauliflower and is FIRE!!

Good video. The beef/chicken looked delicious! When I lived in San Diego many years ago, I don't remember South Park. I do remember North Park ,Hillcrest ,Banker's Hill .Normal Heights ,Kensington,,and Downtown .So many lovely homes ,especially in Mission Hills.If you want to do 31 videos in 31 days ,keep them short and sweet.

Yes my stomping grounds on Jaycation.🏖 Jay... You have to try Mazara Pizzaria on 30th and Juniper! Best spot for a Giant Pizza!🍝🍕🍺🍷Ask for Sam❣They have excellent selection of beer/wine. Thanks for traveling to SouthPark. I grew up here from elementary to High School. Good food also at The Big Kitchen.❤‍🔥

This is not a hidden gem...lol I wish, it's packed every weekend. Lived here for several decades. Pack your patience and walking shoes if you come over on weekends. Lot's of Air B and B's, tourist from downtown who won't go to North Park because of the parking situation. Can you do another neighborhood like Coronado? They need more crowds there... :D and yes I am joking.
