I mean an adult shouldn't have a "relationship" with a child that they aren't related to. Even if Sia isn't a sexual predator she's controlling and weird. I honestly have to wonder how long it will take for Maddie to realise all adults in her life are toxic in one way or another. I am 26 and it took me 24 years to realise my mother is super toxic and sort of Dr Phil show material, because she's not textbook abusive. At Maddie's age you unfortunately shape your view of the world based on how adult act around you and towards you, and even the oddest behaviour can become the norm until you learn better.

Yeah this whole situation immediately creeped me out. I knew they had worked together but I had no idea Sia and Maddie had such a close relationship, to the point were what he was describing was making me uncomfortable. A grown woman does NOT cuddle with a 12 yr old she didnt raise. Its just wrong. As wrong as it woukd be if Sia was a man instead. I'm very much now convinced that Sia has issues and has more than "maternal" feelings for Maddie. Maybe one day Maddie will come forward. But thats her decison of course. Obviously we dont know for sure, but when you have any adult that is super interested in a child and simultaneously can MAKE that childs career, it puts the child in a bad position. (Epsecially if they have a mother that's more concerned about them gaining fame then their personal heath and safety.) And children are already easily manipulated by adults without the worry that their career wont take off without their help. This story just makes me sad.

The having her in her bed snuggling makes me think of a role that toxic parents who no longer have spouses push onto their child, it pushes the dynamic of being a surrogate spouse and is often referred to as emotional incest. They make the child their support system since they don't have a partner and become completely enmeshed in this child's life, often trying to keep them from leading their own life. An extension of them and since she dresses Maddie just like her I'm certain she sees Maddie as an extension of her and I bet you anything if she breaks away ready to live her life you'll see the biggest smear campaign in the media with her stating how she did so much for Maddie and she ran away.

That would really be horrible if that were the case. I think that the fact that she's never been able to have children of her own might be a contributing factor in how she treats/spoils Maddie. I also believe that Sia has her own personal battles mental health-wise and she might very well see Maddie as a daughter she never had, a daughter that she'd dream to have. She said she felt a connection to her so it's very possibly that with time Sia really did just feel overprotective of her. Since Maddie is NOT her daughter though, it would perhaps be wise for Sia to seek professional help if her "motherly love" for Maddie is in fact crossing too many lines.

I don't think Sia is grooming Maddie, however, I feel like she has clung onto her as a result from past trauma, which can come off as smothering and bad intentioned. It is an unhealthy attachment, as she isn't letting Maddie grow into an adult.
@cupknee3 жыл бұрын
^ this is what i think too. i had an unhealthy parent-child relationship growing up, when my mom died young and my dad was traumatized and relied on me for emotional support. i don't blame him for it but it really messed me up because i felt like i had to grow up so quick and never got to experience a normal adolescence, and i thought being a teen being codependent on older adult men was normal. because of that, i was an easy target for predators. "emotional incest" is a real thing in families, usually a direct result of trauma. it might have similar traits to grooming but it is not, there's nothing inherently sexual about it. but there's an implication where the child seems like they're treated more like an adult partner rather than a child.

Okay, a couple things, 1. When I was in my early 5 year old body, I was being groomed and sexually abused by a 16 year old boy, one of the things he liked doing was playing a game called, the Kissing Game, where he would point to a spot on his body, then I would have to kiss it. You see at the age of 5, I thought I loved this 16 year old, and because of abuse already happening, and him telling me he was my boyfriend, I didn't think anything was wrong with it. There has been more than 1 accuser with Michael Jackson since I was a teen, I'm now 47, and from what I've researched since that documentary, Leaving Neverland, came out, most of his accusers have mentioned that he played that game with them. 2. Regardless of what anyone else thinks, family, friends, media, etc., knowing that it is the parents wanting your money, WOULD YOU EVER, EVER, EVER, in a million years, and for any reason whatsoever, instead of going through court, PAY THE VICTIM AND THEIR FAMILY OFF, he not only did this once, twice, but many times. 3. Why has every child celebrity child and non celebrity child(male), that was literally sold to Michael by their parents, been so fked up, once they aged out. 4. Being a victim, I also know other victims, we know the damage that PEDOPHILIC MONSTERS cause children from the moment of the first meeting, until the day we die, and we know that we would never, ever, EVER, want another child to go through what we have, and become very protective of children, and can sometimes sense when there's abuse in a home. Him hanging out with little boys, having them sleep over, in his bed, WITH HIM, with everyone letting him use the excuse of, he's just a child himself, or, he cares so much for children, MAKES ME SICK, then why only little boys of a certain age, if you love and care for children, you love and care for all children, not just little boys around the same age demographic. People need to stop making excuses for these MONSTERS. 5. So Mommy Dearest, Joan Crawford, could adopt children, then abuse them physically, emotionally, and mentally. Amber Heard was the actual abuser, after Johnny Depps career was ruined. Jeffrey Epstien had a PEDOPHILE island that even Trump visited and Trump and Epstien were quite the buddies. Coronavirus is killing hundreds of thousands. Pee Wee Herman got caught in a porn theater, masterbating to the movie that was playing. George Michael was caught in the bathroom, in a gay park, having sex with strangers. More celebrities will come out as abusers and PEDOPHILES. Everyone will get the covid vaccine., Sherri Pie from Ru Paul's s12 dragrace, catfished young men, claiming to be in the industry, asking for sexualized videos from said young men, only to be used for his own sexual deviance. If all this has, is, and will happen, why is it so freaking hard to believe that Michael Jackson could've fked with young boys. 6. For people reading this, go look up pictures of Michael with young boys, watch as the boys grow up with him, you can see the literal hurt, sadness, and why the fk is this happening to me, and by my hero, someone I'm supposed to be able to trust. For other victims, you'll be able to see it instantly. Now I really don't understand why so many people, people that dont know Michael personally, only as a fan, yet see all the proof, all the things he did, things that if they happened today, just wouldn't fly, and his loyal fans, wouldn't be so loyal. I used to believe it wasn't true, he could never, ever do anything to a child. Then I researched it all, until I couldn't research anymore, watched videos of him hanging with these boys, lots, and lots, of these young boys, and they're always the same age group, and now I'm hurt, sad, confused, angered, and sick of the fact that alot of celebrities believe they can say, buy, do, whatever they want, and in the end their money will get them out of it. NO INNOCENT PERSON PAYS AN ACCUSER OFF, THEY FIGHT IT IN COURT, ESPECIALLY IF THERES NO PROOF, RIGHT. If anyone at all can prove otherwise to me, I'll be so fken grateful, I was MJ for Halloween in grade 5, had his posters up, still have all his music because I'm hoping I'm wrong. Please stay safe, healthy, kind, strong and happy everyone, peace and much love sent from Ontario, Canada.

@@kathall6422 hey Kat, firstly I want to say I’m very sorry to hear about your devastating experience as a young child. That is horrendous and no child should ever be made to go through such things. My heart goes out to you. In regards to the Michael Jackson topic, I have to inform you of FACTS to reinforce my opinion that he is innocent: 1. He was advised by his team of lawyers at the time to pay the money to the family to “settle”. But you need to know, this was a CIVIL case - a civil case is ONLY for monitory gain. If it was a CRIMINAL case, it would have gone to court, which he wanted to. But the family FILED for a civil case to claim millions. You have to ask yourself this, WHAT FAMILY FILES A CIVIL CASE FOR MONEY AS OPPOSED TO GO TO CRIMINAL COURT TO FIGHT FOR JUSTICE? Michael always regretted paying them because he felt it made him look guilty. 2. Wade Robson (1 half of the Leaving Neverland accusers) was part of MJs defends team as a KEY witness on trial back in 05. He went on MANY media platforms proclaiming MJs innocence. All are available on KZbin. Wade even performed at MJs MTV tribute back in 2009 as a dancer alongside Janet. He wrote in a published book an entire passage about the influence and friendship he had with Michael. All of that changed when he was declined by the MJ estate to choreograph the show “Cirque du Soliel”, the MJ tribute show. He grew bitter & he was also $850,000 in debt and was desperate for work. As soon as that happened, Wades whole narrative changed to MJ being this pedo monster. This change was around 2013. PLEASE WATCH WADES POLICE DEPOSITION IN 2016 - it’s on KZbin. He gets caught up in all his lies. Wade tried peddling a book about alleged abuse at the hands of MJ for a couple years and every publisher threw it out because there was no evidence and the story wasn’t consistent. THEN the deal with leaving Neverland came alone and HBO got behind it because they knew they could bring massive views and ratings in on the back of MJs name. 3. Michael Jackson actually played matchmaker fo Wade. He set him up with HIS OWN NEICE. Brandi Jackson, who is daughter of Jackie Jackson. They were together for roughly 8 years. He infact cheated on Brandi with Britney Spears which was a huge scandal at the time. Hence why Justin Timberlake made the song “cry me a river” which was a jab at Britney after her infidelity. Wade also slept with Princes partner at the time (Manuella). A lot of industry people have openly said that Wade burnt a lot of Bridges and not many people wanted to work with him. So when MJ died, he wasn’t able to get any work or opportunities through him. 3.Wade had a segment in the documentary where he said he got all his MJ memorabilia together and burned it all in this bonfire. Incorrect and couldn’t be farther from the truth. A few years prior to the doc airing (the exact year escapes me sorry), he put his MJ memorabilia up on an auction site because of his debts that I previously mentioned. He asked the company to sell it anonymously BUT the company refused and said no. So Wade couldn’t have burned it all up in anger and a “healing process”, Because he had already sold them on a few years prior to settle some debts. 4. James Safechuck made a terrible hiccup in regards to the years when he claims abuse also. I’m sure you’ve heard, he claimed to be molested in the train stations at Neverland BUTTT the train station wasn’t built until 1994. It he wasn’t out about the dates with a couple months or weeks, it was by 2-3 years. 5. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) heavily surveillanced MJ for TEN years. They bugged his phones, security, computers, entourage etc for TEN years and didn’t find a spec of evidence on him or ANY indication that MJ was a pedophile. 6. Wade and James BOTH took their stories before a judge and the judge THREW the case out, once again citing NO evidence and inconsistencies in timelines. I could go on and on and on my dear friend, but my thumbs are tired LOL! I want you to know that, I whole heartedly believe MJs innocence because there are FAR too many instances, facts and evidence to prove that the “ MJ Pedo” narrative has always been and always will be for monetary gain. You have to remember that MJ was one of the richest but most vulnerable people on the planet. The man died OWNING 51% of Sony and his entire catalog alongside the Beatles catalog. this guy was a cunning businessman and he pissed off a hell of a lot of people whilst doing his deals. Was he eccentric? Yes. Was he naive? HELL YEAH. But was he a criminal? ... ABSOLUTELY not. Just my thoughts and research gathered over years. Really hope you stay safe and well my friend. Said said I wouldn't make art if it didn't include her. That's soo weird. Art should be about you and expressing yourself

Absolutely. Sia hide hers own identify with wigs, yet Maddie is up at the front with no privacy. It’s like Maddie is the face and persona for Sia

I would never ever let my child gets too close with an adult regardless who they are. Their relationship is sick and fvked up. If sia was a man, the whole world would be in chaos the moment she "picked" maddie. People need to understand that predators could be anyone regardless their sex and gender

Sia said she doesn’t want to make art without Maddie and that’s really creepy how she said it. I feel like she wants to live through Maddie. It’s very odd

I get the same vibe, kinda like she wants to switch bodies so that she can stay young and beautiful.
@raeburt25513 жыл бұрын
The fact that Sia crossed those boundaries as an adult with someone else’s child is questionable itself and we won’t know until Maddie reaches a breaking point (because that’s usually when we find out the true nature of predatory relationships).

Maddie, if your inner voice ever says "RUN", you run.
