Singapore is really extreme - the majority of dwellers in HDB flats have only about 1/5 of the greenery with good tall matured trees being chopped off - witnessed 5 in the last few months and just being replaced with token green saplings for easier maintenance, supposedly by the authorities.

That was a really inspirational film Irene. There is do much to learn and take away from this garden and the technical information you provided. The information on Weeping Willows was very good and I enjoyed the lovely Begonias in particular. I thought you gave excellent practical advice on types of bamboo and choosing the right kind as well. I particularly liked the relationship between the house and garden. And highlighting the use of lighting and ornaments as features was very good.
