Singapore is really extreme - the majority of dwellers in HDB flats have only about 1/5 of the greenery with good tall matured trees being chopped off - witnessed 5 in the last few months and just being replaced with token green saplings for easier maintenance, supposedly by the authorities.

I love the natural way in which companion gardening was done here in very subtle ways. I also love how peaceful this home seems, with the garden as an extension of the home's interior. It's also a nice way for a couple to literally bond together through their connection with nature. I also love the water feature.

That was a really inspirational film Irene. There is do much to learn and take away from this garden and the technical information you provided. The information on Weeping Willows was very good and I enjoyed the lovely Begonias in particular. I thought you gave excellent practical advice on types of bamboo and choosing the right kind as well. I particularly liked the relationship between the house and garden. And highlighting the use of lighting and ornaments as features was very good.
