If these individuals have specific allegations of impropriety to make, they should do so openly, stating what those allegations are. Hiding in the shadows, making veiled insinuations and providing no evidence, it is hard to take them seriously. Their claim to be putting a lot on the line would be more credible if they weren't hiding their identities. Perhaps they should pray for the virtue of fortitude.

Past history of the Catholic church interfering with a female monastery is well documented. Anytime a female monastery is worth or makes money, the Church has sent their men in to claim or reign in the females, even though the sister's are most probably innocent. That is a beautiful piece of property that the monastery sits on. It is unfortunate that the Mother Superior is in bad health. It is sad to think that she is suffering and can't get the help she needs, or that it is illegal. I'm not Catholic, but I pray that the truth will be found. Frankly, I'm rooting for the sisters. That Bishop is the typical caricature of a holyman portrayed in such literary works written by Chaucer. It's time the Vatican cleans its own house and leave those sisters alone. In other words- do the walk when you do the talk.

Nuns take a vow of POVERTY. They do not own the property. The Holy See (Pope) does. They also placed themselves under the bishop (instead of the Superior General of the Order) five years ago. Technically, he is their superior. Investigate before you take sides!

Whatever happens inside the monastery is the nuns' business. It is a cloistered community and even he is the Bishop, he has no right to enter. That is why most Carmelite monasteries are with grills. The witnesses hidden under shades should show their faces if they are authentic people.
