Inside Sports: Mariga's Parents

Macdonald Mariga is without doubt one of the finest mid-fielders Kenya has ever produced, having won the heart of former Inter Milan Coach Jose Mourihno who signed him back in 2010. Coincidentally, Mariga comes from a football background with his father Noah Wanyama, having played for both Afc Leopards and the national team Harambee Stars as a winger. But Mariga is not the only talented footballer in his family, his siblings Victor Mugabe and Thomas Wanyama are professional players, while their sister Mercy Wanyama is a professional basketballer. Geoffrey Wachira spent some time with Noah Wanyama in his home here in Nairobi and filed the following report.

@akurao, You should understand what he means. All he means ismthat he can now afford. He never said that Nyama is better than fruits and veggies. ......and no, nyama is not chakula cha mashetani.
