Inside the 15 year old PC (upgrades, updates and Ubuntu 18.04)

Welcome to the insides of my 15 year old PC! I've been showing live USBs on my old computer but I recently installed an SSD and WOW!!! I haven't had the opportunity to see a side by side comparison before and its just insane how different the performance is, even with a sata1 connection. This computer is damn near usable! There are a couple other upgrades including a surprisingly well paired Nvidia geforce 210 PCI card. Its been a struggle getting proprietary drivers to work properly for the unsupported 340 drivers, but after a few different attempts I finally got them working in Ubuntu 16.04 and now 18.04. Sadly I can't get video acceleration working properly with nouveau drivers due to the weird nature of the internal graphics processor on the motherboard, but hopefully I'll solve that in the future! Newer distributions including fedora 35 and Debian bookworm (currently testing) work great but without video acceleration they struggle to do the basic task of streaming even low resolution video content.
