Awesome video Miss Josey! I am from America and my local Asian grocery store is owned by a Malaysian family. All I know about them is that they are very welcoming and kind people. The shop owners speak Mandarin Chinese, but I know there are many different languages and cultures there. You definitely made me want to visit the Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur!

We also have many different chinese dialects spoken in Malaysia depending on where our ancestors came from in China. Some of the dialects are cantonese, hokkien, teochew, hakka and hainanese with several more lesser spoken ones as well. Also, certain dialects are spoken depending on which state you are in. Of course, we also have our national language, Bahasa Malaysia that unites everyone with a common language although english use is very widespread and is the the 1st language in the corporate and business world.

Lol that scammer guy is everywhere 🤣 We actually saw that one here in my town which is like 300km from KL and he need money for his bus ride 🤣 If you want to donate to those people, just give the minimum amount possible but I would strongly advised against it as they will also take a glimpse inside of your purse and would start robbing you when opportunity comes. These kind of road scammers never work alone, they have their own gangs that's why they're comfortable being a scammer in a foreign country.

The food stalls on an evening in the night market sell the best food. Nasi Gorang is a must try as is Satay . Tell the guys to stop following you or they will be there like a smelly fart all the time.
