Parents were landlords. Lots of people view us as evil people. The laws favor the tenants. With dealing with a lot of B.S. and stress of being a landlord. I’ve sold the properties, paid off the debts and now make better ROI with basic investments. It took us over a year to kick out a methhead. Some tenants were good, some show their true colors later on.

I'm American, but it's unfathomable to me that so many young people in the UK refuse to work. I know that many may be disabled. Why do 99% of all these tenants live on benefits? I joined the US Army at 16, retired as a deputy Sherriff, and I currently work at a State Prison now. I get a VA pension, a good MD pension from The Sherriffs Department, & I am now working on my PA state pension. Law enforcement pensions in the USA are between 10 & 20 years because of the high stress work. You are a priority for hire if you are a US military veteran.
