I was in Monaco a few months ago in August, and my God the pretentious and ostentatious behavior going on all around me from there all the way to Saint Tropez was disturbing. The irony of it all was the highlight of my trip, in terms of the people I met. We’re a Russian family from France, descended from the White Russians who escaped The October Revolution in over a century ago. Came here for Dominic West and fell in love with Catherine Fitzgerald. Google their London home; it's timeless, vibrant and very family friendly. Although the West-Fitzgeralds say they didn't use a designer for the London remodel, Ms. Fitzgerald is really a stellar designer through and through, be it landscapes or interiors.

I loved this place! I also love gardening and have dragged my very unique and special plants along with me every time I’ve moved - 3 states!- I still have a rose Bush that is a cutting from my grandmothers rose Bush that originally came from Wales. So it is easily over 100 years old by its history. Last time I moved it took a 28 foot uhaul truck to move my plants, and I still had to put some in my personal truck. Yes. I have many plants and trees, all with a story. So I get it.

Please tell us the story. It was up for sale for 4.6 million in 2015. Now they have plans for expansion of more rooms and keeping it in the family. It takes piles of money to maintain these places.

Until I saw this video, I didn't imagine that the inside of a castle can be so intimate, warm and full of history at the same time. Meanwhile, Dominic and Catherine form a wonderful couple who complement each other perfectly.
