For reals! I remember all the hate and comments towards her…. I never really understood the hate towards the Fords tbh. They weren’t afraid to spend money on players and coaches and they don’t mettle in the football affairs like Jerry Jones or Al Davis. I think the whole notion that they didn’t care about winning was bologna. Either way I’m glad things have improved drastically under Sheila’s ownership. It certainly looks and feels like they actually are turning the corner by doing things the right way. No more copying other teams. No more retread coaches and players. I was a lions fan growing up in the midwest and spent my childhood watching Matt Stafford throw to Calvin Johnson, some of my favorite football moments in life were spent watching this team. I love the direction this team is going and to see them finally doing things the right way to build from within is special. The culture and leadership on the team is paramount to their success. I cant imagine anyone not wanting to run through a wall for MCDC.

Swift needs to know how play through pain. There's a difference vs. being injured. It's one of those grit things that's being preached.
