Akeene Ritchie tbh, we probably just got lucky- but we had a lot of leadership roles in our high school in England, started up engineering society, etc I don’t know for sure, but leading and pro activity was definitely a strong point on our application

Idk if y'all know but Georgia Tech's food service provider Aramark provides its services to ICE facilities and private prisons, and of course underpays its lowest earning workers who are predominantly African American

@@jascollinss no lol, I just want Georgia Tech to do what many other colleges and universities have done which is to hire their own chefs and provide their own food service. Rather than contract the service out to a third party we can easily just hire own staff and in turn provide more employment opportunities to students and guarantee higher wages for the food service workers

would you say that Georgia tech has a lot of African American students and do you know wether the business department is good?

African American students are still very much in the minority at Georgia Tech, but your perspective really depends on who you choose to spend your time with. I’ve heard the Scheller school of business is actually quite good, though you’ll have to ask the business students :)- Dara
