I studied in Graz for half a year and had the chance to visit Vienna a few times. One of the most beautiful in europe, I'll admit I missed the dodgy area! Nice vid (:

Favoriten is just the name of the district, it's not meant to be translated. Please take care when walking on bicycle lanes. Very interesting to see a well-travelled foreigners first impressions of a place you know very well. Thanks for the Video.

Great video man! The row at Ferhat is always pure insanity! Been there last year.. But at the end of the day its worth it and the hype surrounding it is more than deserved! Premium kebab from the topnotch meat to the the crispy bread and they dont tend to put a shit ton of sauce on it. Only downside crossing my mind is you have to be very patient at rush hours to get one! Favoritens very own gastronomical landmark 💯

Well the football club "Austria Vienna" isn´t "the traditional working class football club" despite their stadium is located in a traditional working class area - but - "traditionally due to their history" it´s the club of "the academics, authors, poets + business men"... Vienna´s "traditional working class club" is "Rapid Vienna" despite their stadium is located in a quite traditional noble area. I know that´sounds a bit weird but both clubs simply changed their home location/Vienna districts uncountable several times during their over 100 years history until they ended up there where they are now . And the rivalry between those 2 clubs is therefore huge since their founding although nowadays the fanbase in both clubs is mixed through all social classes and their "traditional social status" so to say is now just "pure Nostalgia from the past" to be honest... By the way the name "Favoriten" is from a former Castle which had the name "Schloss Favorita" which was once located in that area before that area became a part of Vienna. And your walk through the "dodgiest area of Vienna" showed quite clearly why Vienna is the safest city in Europe, don´t you think. Just to give you a perspective : In the year 2022 were the highest rate of murder for the last decade in whole Austria = and that number - for whole Austria - was 72 casualties and most of those were committed within the family or within relationships = "classic relationship crimes" and the little rest were amongst criminals
