@@matchu9995 Lewis wasn't doing anything fishy. Mans was just clarifying a rule, a rule stating that the steering wheel should always be reattached after the race, he's been in the situation before where he spent more time than normal in parc ferme trying to reattach the wheel to avoid disqualification, so he needed to know the discrepancy, it's their job to know and understand the rules better...

I have to say driver safety should be more important than waving at fans. Grosjean wasn't asking for a fine or a punishment. He wanted Charlie to say that driver safety goes above all else and make a clarification that undoing seat belts before the car is parked is not allowed. Malaysia showed freak collisions can happen after the finish and if Vettel wasn't strapped in to wave at fans, he would have had serious physical harm on his collision with Stroll.

Timour Ozdemir but it’s always about safety and i think that’s his main priority cuz one of his friends died due to a collision in an f1 race so I think it’s definitely a safety thing not just to be annoying

In this instance his emotions got the better of him when presenting his concern. What should have Grosjean said?.... "Charlie, I have a safety concern for when races are finishing. I believe that Lewis Hamilton un does his safety belt to wave for fans. To me this is unsafe and unfair to other drivers, when there are rules in place to keep your belt on." Instead he tip toes around saying what he really feels. Isn't this apart of his job? Like, the one person elected to speak up about safety issues?

@asgeiralbretsen
@asgeiralbretsen 7 жыл бұрын
He is not trying to get him penalized. If you didn't know, drivers current steering wheels are a secret, so they try their best to hide them. You're usually supposed to leave it in the car after an accident, but Vettel brought it with him, without being penalized. This means that maybe Hamilton and the other drivers can do the same, in an effort to hide their steering wheel. This has absolutely nothing to do with Hamilton trying to get Vettel penalized. The stewards knew about it beforehand. It's not like bringing it up would change anything.

It's typical that Ferrari can get away with breaking the rules! So Vettel deliberately crashes into Vettel and all he receives as a penalty is a drive through penalty. If Hamilton or any other driver had deliberately crashed into another driver, god knows what they'd be given; probably a jail sentence!
