Your Duncan coverage got me to subscribe. I think best reflection of who he is comes from how much he is loved by his OG teammates like Udonis and Jimmy Butler. Jimmy wouldn’t say Duncan is the dumbest player he played with unless he loved him. The whitest New Hampshire guy you could ever find is a key part of the team and the brothers recognize it. White and black don’t mean shit. What matters is if you can play. People forget the NBA MVP last year was a white guy. Jokic was recognized as THE guy over hundreds of black players.

@@Calushikid what helps facilitate his shooting is his height and high release allowing him to take shots that would be blocked for others taking the same shot. And his work to get open shots is exceptional. He can shoot on the move like when he’s curling around the guy passing him the ball. He’s not just standing in the corner waiting for a pass. It was a close game 23-17 when Duncan came into the game and by the time he made his only 2 point basket, they were up 17.

Yeah, I know man. I’ve heard so many times in the broadcasts that the opponents first objective is to not allow Duncan to make shots because they know if he gets HOT, the game will be likely over. That’s why when he’s in the starting lineup he’s always getting doubled team almost on all possessions. He’s truly incredible.
