The Hotel Son Matias Beach, is the BEST hotel I EVER worked! I was entertainments manager there along with Joyce for two seasons. Well done to all of the team along with Andreas and Tony. If you enjoy 'quality', then this is the hotel for you...Thank you...Bryan S.

Well...it's a lovely hotel and lovely people...What more could you ask? Problem is: It is 7 seconds from the beach! TOO far for an old codger like me!..😂 🅱️🌺.

Well...I don't wish to be the bearer of 'not so good news', but the lovely Joyce passed away on January 28/2017 aged 63 years. Joyce was one of the best! For anyone who may remember Joyce , thank you for remembering a fine lady. Sleep well and thank you for being you...Bryan S.❤🌺...

That cocktail looked amazing! Wow! What a room with a view! Champagne too!! So nice! The hotel looks an amazing place to stay! So pleased that you got to stay a night there to bring us this fabulous video. Really looking forward to seeing what the evening meal and entertainment was like.

Lived 2 mins from this hotel ,, great area for bars and restaurants around ,, I always used to stop at the little burger bar rite outside this hotel most days for a cold beer and food .. ,, love the island.. it’s like going home when we go

We stayed there a few years ago lovely hotel it was like an old folks home we were put in a room which was abuv that steak grill place all the smoke and smell used to be on hower balcony and in the room as well ☹️

Best time of year to holiday there. Usually weather is great and this is a lovely hotel. Used to come round here on occasion for the night time entertainment which is very good.

You were very fortunate to be in the Junior Suite, it looked amazing. I have only stayed once at the Son Matias & the ordinary rooms are ok, but the sea views are great.

We always stay in the Santa Lucia and we have done for years myself and my daughters went into that Hotel last July just to have a look and we’re definitely not impressed it’s like an old folks home and as soon as we walked near the pool we was stared at and felt very intimidated by probably the regular guests we’ve never felt like that at the Santa Lucia we’re going again this year in July for my daughters birthday and they always send a bottle of wine to our room Love every minute there very relaxing and absolutely beautiful staff ❤

Old folks home what Absolute rubbish. one of the best hotels on the island with 16.000 repeat guests.

Stayed here about 2021 great hotel .the Desk Couldnt do enough for you.we was on high floor great Views over loocking the beach with a Coffee.the breakfast was lovely .Very peaceful and relaxing when catching some Rays.and plenty of bars and restaurants Suroundin. We are back here Next month .looking forwatd to it.

Thanks so much for watching Kevin. I would love to check out this hotel, but I have to be invited in. You can see the Catalonia del Mar in most of my live streams - it's almost right next to the Hotel Cala Bona! I often walk past and it's in a fab position!

Looking forward for our 36th year in the Son Matias this year Alex, one thing you did not mention is the pool does not really have a deep end. So if anyone is a bit on the nervous side you need not worry the very deepest it is is around 5 feet so everyone can enjoy the full pool rather than hogging the shallow end.

I stayed here September 2022 and the sunbed policy was not followed. I spent two afternoons round the pool looking at sunbeds with towels on and noone came to check the loungers or place stickes on them. Sun loungers are ment for people to lay on, not a glorified towel rack

No all Inclusive here. They offer half board or bed & breakfast

Hi Alex. Great video! My husband and I are staying here in September cant wait! We arrive at hotel roughly 10am will we be able to check in, what is the policy please?

Double check with the hotel, but I think you can still check in, and leave your bags, and your room will be ready around 2 or 3pm. Better check with them! Maybe you'll get it earlier.
