This is the thing I really like about Joel. When he makes something, HE makes something. He's not hiring a bunch of people to do everything FOR him, but WITH him. He's involved in everything that makes for his career. He produces the music. He makes his albums' cover arts. He is involved in the brainstorming process for his next stage setup. He's testing constructions in Blender. He makes the visuals, is co-developing the controlling equipment for his stage techs, and you can tell he's really involved in everything because he can explain it to detail by heart. It is so authentic and that's what I like about him. He's one of the few artists that when I see a stage show, I know he made it. He's presenting HIS work, not showcasing stuff that others created for him.

Egnato 116 He thinks his own music isn’t that good. That dance and 4x4 is easy, and not overly skilful, in musical terms. And now he’s just legendary within the scene.

He's previously been an asshole, but he seems to have changed a lot for the positive. He will always be a top3 artist for me even though I don't listen to him much anymore. I think he's the opposite. He's a great artist who shits on everyone and thinks electronic music sucks. Definitely pretty narcissistic from everything I've ever heard about him. He's right, there is a strong correlation between face-palming and high-fiving 🤣

The detail is impeccable, even has the logo CNC'd into the skew ring that it spins on. That's badass.

There is a reason he still slaps. He is a professional. He is one of the biggest influences in music for me and I've listened to literally countless artists. Very few catch my attention. He is a character for sure, and his songs are very well made. The guy is a pure soul too. I hope he keeps it up in the future.

He's a lot happier now than he was in the early 2010's :). Good for him.
