I'm from the UK and it always amazes me the standard of the college facilities in the states. They absolutely put to shame professional soccer clubs in the UK with an annual wage bill of $300 million annual wage bill

That's precisely why the college facilities are much better. They don't pay a penny to the athletes that bring in hundreds of millions of dollars to the college. Some college teams are worth more than NFL teams, they have higher revenues but do not have to pay athletes. The Premier league is totally loss making. Even clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United very rarely make any money.

The schedule posted @ 4:20 : the colors explained : purple tiles are the home games & gold tiles are the away games. Those are the 12 regular season games. Then you have the 3 tiles at the end : SEC championship game, CFP semi-final game & CFP championship game. SEC = Southeastern Conference. CFP = College Football Playoff. Geaux, Tigers!

It’s for much more than the sake of recruitment. Also, the purpose that locker rooms serve for professionals vs college athletes is different.

Professionals are not recruited, but drafted. Professional teams have no reason to "bling" everything in their facilities. Plus professional teams have to dole out huge salaries to the players, so it doesn't leave much money for other stuff.
