I think the post com actually is better. As you said yourself you can focus on the game and then when it’s still fresh on your mind you can go over what you did. Plus you actually went even more in depth when you paused the game and reminded it. So in my opinion post com is better

Honestly you could do a live commentary for every map and if you don't like the way a commentary went for a certain video, then just record a post commentary for it. Instead of scrapping the whole episode/recording.
