In my view this is not necessary . I can’t live like this which is a waste of money and poor people begging with their hungry kids right outside your gate . We can build sky scrapers to be noticed by the rich and match their standards but it can all be destroyed by nature. Entertain foreigners to look good I don’t see the humility in that . Why should you involve outsiders in your wedding you are Indian. If you didn’t have money and gifts nobody would come to your door. Thats my opinion of this .
