This is back when mostly basketball fans watched the game and we didn't have constant drama and talking heads to bring in the casuals. This program is simply presenting and reporting the game.

I guess nobody bothered to explain to you that it's a business. If they don't appeal to casuals, eventually, it would cease to exist. Perhaps you should stay off social media and the like if you don't want "the constant drama and talking heads." It'll be just like it used to be for you.

@@NatTurnerswitBurnerzwell the problem with that argument is that the numbers have never been this bad for the nba and meanwhile the nfl is breaking all time television records at the same time so don't give me the whole streaming argument

That Jordan dunk at 3:47 should be on every Jordan highlight reel. He really threw that down with a lot of style.

Feels like back then the NBA was so good at marketing to younger crowds with inside stuff, basketball cards that were actually affordable, jam session, etc, etc... dont feel the same anymore but then again im not young anymore either so who knows

Wow, in 1991, the Knicks have not won a regular season game in Boston since 1984. But they did win game 5 in Boston in the 1990 playoffs.
