in Germany the car starts at 54.600€ with all these options like this car... i have to pay 73.545€ what the hell is wrong in Netherland? crazy...for this 107k i become a really full rs5 2017

Not sure about gov regulations in Holland but wouldn't it just be cheaper to pop over to Germany and buy one? You could stay in a pretty fancy hotel for a week and still not spend 45K Euros!!!

Welcome to our tax nation. The taxes on cars are extreme here. If we go to germany to buy a car en then import it we still have to pay a really high amount of tax. But 106k for a new RS3 is expensive, even here in the netherlands. The base price here sould be around 75k with taxes included.

Ik kan echt niet kiezen tussen de sedan of sportback. En ik kan ook niet kiezen tussen de kleuren of ik nu mat grijs wil met blauw of zwart glanzend met wit of nardo grey. Maar daar heb ik veel denk tijd over want ik ben nog maar 13 :(

De prijzen zijn in Nederland gewoonweg ridicuul. €106.000 kun je heel wat leuks voor kopen, deze prijs zit bijvoorbeeld erg dichtbij de basisprijs van de RS6, in Duitsland dan wel te verstaan (€111.500). Blijft natuurlijk wel een mooie wagen en het geluid is onovertroffen in deze klasse. Toffe review!

If you import a car (into the Netherlands) which is less than 6 months old or less than - i think - 5000km, the car will be considerd ''new'', so you have to pay a little more. If not, you still have to pay some sort of car tax (yes i know, the Netherlands is really stupid) but it's always cheaper than buying a car here. Hence i will most likely import an RS3 in a couple of years (once im done with my study lol).

I can see a lot of dutch people complaining about how high their tax is on cars. In Denmark we pay 180% of the car's original price, and that is just registration tax. If this car has a price tag of 50k euro, 180% of that amount would be an added tax. You do the math.

The sedan has less boot space than the sportback if you look at the specs. Really annoying because the S3 Sedan has a bigger boot than the sportback.

Yeah, check the dimensions stats on the official brochures. Can't remember it off by hand but I think its because the battery is in the boot for the RS3 sedan but no the S3 sedan.
