I'm loving the pigeon setup! Its starting to get very cold for my old german owls aswell, are you using any heaters? Do you have any recommendations? Preferably battery if possible

I only have the heater under the water dish keeping it from freezing. I now have plastic up on all 4 sides. Pigeons are pretty cold tolerant as long as they've been conditioned to the weather. Meaning they've been outside while the weather was cooling down so they grow in the extra down to keep them warm. We just had minus 20 degree weather so I brought them in. Just today I brought them back out. The nights lows are going back up into the 20's and that is fine for pigeons as long as they have a way to get out of it in some way. I have the plastic up and they can go into the hutches if they need. A heater would be really cool though. I just don't know how you'd do that cost effectively. I have heard of patio gas heaters you can use on your patio that heats an area that may work.
