Regarding indoor cycling, don't forget Tadej can afford to live at Côte d'Azur in winter time. We, "standard" people with work in continental Europe and mountains have no other options to cycle but indoors 😅 Winter is too harsh, roads are wet or icy and slippery, days are very short.

Dudes. I know this sounds lame, but I really think sitting on rollers staring at a wall for 1-2 hrs is the best way to train your mind to suffer. There is value to that. If you can stare at a wall on rollers for 2 hrs, your mind is solid. You can push through almost anything.

Totally. Sounds like his first season focusing extra on diet and trimmed a couple kilos. New coach etc. The power to weight jump was a thing to watch wow. Excited for next season. See what the main competitors tweak this offseason. Fun year ahead!
@msemmahale460811 күн бұрын
Power to weight is not the only consideration as you know. The quality of the diet is important as well for optimal functioning. Anyone have sources for where to read about his coach for the 2024 season as well as the coach’s philosophy, methods? I followed Dr Iñigo San Millan’s online vids about zone 2 training with great interest (I liked that it was transferable to the recreational rider too).

Oh boy is this a good example of UAE just spitting monney innto someething, this feels worse than the endless ad brakes in other podcast. This is only about getting people to ride indoors instead of getting people on a bike and giving a good interview. Peter Attia even tho he could have asked better questions his podcast felt way more natural and better.
@craigkennett622613 күн бұрын
When you think about it riding indoors is probably the most or second most popular physical activity in the world to running and jogging. Not only does every cyclist train on stationary bikes but almost every athlete in almost every sport trains on a stationary bike in their garage or fitness center. This is a great concept. It's called taking things one step further
@RottenDK12 күн бұрын
@@craigkennett6226 Yea because people are haven't tried cycling outside? I would never go to a fitness center to run on a treadmill when i can go outside. Never! But some people need to drag themselves to the gym to move. I don't get why you don't like riding outside? It's like rowers they are great training tool, but real rowing is way better. I don't say these alternatives doesn't have a place, i use both rowers and home trainer, but i find the most joy outside, on the road, tracks or hills. You did not comment on the fact of the miss use of Pogi, instead of getting more to bike, it's about making more bikers use there UAE platform.
