All due respect to this company and ofc the choreographer.. This is not Hip Hop dance This is not contemporary This is House Dance , specifically from NYC Because its creates from a culture..and has its own vocabulary. its important this name is used . While Institutions are looking to expand their repertoire, itself language and names can't be erased when they borrow from this artforms. Congratulations to all involved

Learn the history before you talk. Housing didn't start until house parties started with HIP-HOP music & DJs turning. You're WAY older than me, you should know this. @@jacobhollingsworth4914 to add, there is a huge difference between how chicago dances to house ..and how NY dances to house ..nobody is claiming nyc created it ..I think it's ironic a chicago based company isn't aware of how Chicago rocks to their own music .... And last time I checked .,hip hopnwas from the Bronx..not the south side or west side
