As an insurance professional for the last 6 years, I definitely recommend asking lots of questions about the policy before going into it. Once you get the policy you have a "30-day free look period", which means you can review it and see if it's exactly what you want. PLEASE REVIEW EVERY DETAIL OF IT; call and ask every question possible if something doesn't make sense to you. If you learn that the policy is not what you expected, then cancel and get a full refund within that 30-day free look period. Some of advice in this video does not work with every insurance company because they all structure their products a little differently. Otherwise, there are some very good tips in this video!
@rafizxDx2 жыл бұрын
Better yet, is for the agent to find out what the client wants the policy to do, so that all the riders match what the client will needs. It's our job as agents to work in the client's best interest by asking good questions, and structure the policy to make sure it will be a fantastic fit for the client.

I've had a $100k whole life policy for 10 years but the cash value after that time is like $5000. Whole life insurance is a lot more expensive than term so how much policy would you have to have to leverage the amount of money Marvin is talking about? And the payment per month sounds like it would be crazy. I was 23 no health problems and pay $40 per month for $100k whole life.

@MsK3RR1 I'm not sure if you got a answer to this, but on paper 100k for $40 is not bad at all for whole life, however because you were only putting $480 annually into the bucket your policy could not compound I a way that would provide a higher cash value.

The issue is that either the renter or the owner must in some way pay insurance and property taxes if they want a "permanent roof" with utilities like electricity, gas and water. Because of this, many people-at least in California, where I currently reside-are living in tents. No taxes, rent, mortgages, or insurance. The number of people who tell me they live in their car that I meet amazes me. Its crazy out here!

Love the conversation! It's much needed in our communities. I'm a licensed professional in the industry as well. One thing that I believe is important to add is that a person has to qualify for a policy. A Whole Life policy can most definitely be a beneficial asset and a great way to start wealth creation for the next generations AND reap the benefits while living, but again, you have to qualify for a policy. Especially when you are dealing with reputable companies that have the financial stability to pay out, they are going to be a little more cautious about who they insure. At the end of the day Life Insurance Companies are still a business.

We've had hundreds of thousands dollars of whole life policies for years. We've used the cash value and I'm thankful for it (an interest free loan from ourselves). One thing I'll add to this video: Depending on your type of policy, you can pay the loan back prior to the anniversary date of the inception of the policy. Or, not pay it back at all and the amount you borrowed (plus interest) will be deducted from the total face value of your account when you die. This strategy has been around A LONG TIME, but I'm glad more of us commoners are learning about it 😊👍🏽💵💵💵

@mbaliatagoe42732 жыл бұрын
This is a great conversation. Only thing I would add is that you absolutely can structure flexibility into a whole life policy. If you need to change from a monthly to an annual premium, that adjustment can be made to an existing policy. In fact, it you aren't able to do annual right off the bat, then monthly is the way to go because at least you get started with the system. But as soon as you can go annual, you should, because you get the dividend calculated on the whole annual premium amount for the full year.

Good stuff. I just reached my 7 years on my IUL and I'm about to switch it from plan B to Plan A. Then I'm going to lower my 401k so that I can add more to my IUL. I also have one in my son's name, which I will increase as well. This video was very motivational.

I would suggest transferring your 401k funds ( while gaining a bonus on it from transferring it ) to an FIA account before your 401k funds drops further. Especially with the markets playing ping pong these days. Life agent here!

I recently retired early this year due to my passive income and I’m planning to go deeper in retirement by getting insurance to borrow against to start my real-estate venture to bring in even more passive income. I’m going to review this episode again with a note pad. Those notes will go on my vision board. Like you both stated in the video, your vision becomes clear if written down.

This shiz is GOLD. I allready was in this same mindset. I been homeless I've had money. Real money. Now whenever I get money it goes to work for me cuz I'm never going back. Not to a job and def not to the streets or motels..I'll spend on some shit thats important but otherwise. I'm pinching pennies. I seen too many nickas spend 20 50 100 mil or more and wind up broke as a joke. No Sir. Not Me...If u don't SAVE it right. It'll NEVER be enough. Ever. Notice I didn't say if u spend it right. I said if u save it right. When money hits ur hand or acct how can u save it to put it to work somehow should be ur first thought. NOT wtf can I buy. Dollar herr and there adds up. Try it for a month

Mind blowing content bro. So much different steps and so much convience from using life insurance policies to grow wealth. As taxes is a big wealth depletion tool that is not for us entrepreneurs, but against us, a whole life insurance policy with a cash value that we can borrow against from ourselves is so awesome. Plus, since we don't get charged taxes on debt it is even more powerful. Amazing!😌😁

I'm a licensed agent and broker and he is right because a IUL is golden but he didn't explain that your health has a lot to do with what you qualify for.. He made it seem like you get approved automatically, the insurance company will want to know if you have any health issues. Also with some people this isn't a good fit. An annuity might also help because an annuity is designed so you never run out of money and what's even good is that you can pass it on to your child if they're a beneficiary. Another great Financial tool is Mortgage Protection although it is a decreasing term. Mortgage Protection is a good play cause if you own a home it protects you on the event that you become sick, disabled or lose your job. It automatically pays your mortgage or partial based on the plan that you got. And it you die it will pay off your house so that your kids or loved ones isn't left with that burden. This brother is right but if someone has horrible health or indulge in dangerous activities the insurance company will basically turn them down. I'm licensed in Florida, Ohio, Washington State and Texas and always give free info especially to people who has been disenfranchised ya better learn the plays or will continue to be played feel free to reach out mindworthymarketing.com/?page_id=2090

I never made it seem like you get approved automatically. There are different things that can be done. You can be the owner of a policy and someone else the insured if you are using this for life
@RaBlazeworld2 жыл бұрын
@@ThrivingMoney I'm not saying you did but you have people believing it's "easy" without first saying your health plays a role. I've seen more people get declined based on pass health issues than those who got approved. You been in this industry for years so you know like I do many aren't going to get approved. Age and health plays a major part. Many think this will make them rich quick easily but it takes times and they can build cash value which is great leverage but it isn't as easy as discussed in this video.

What they will never tell you is that you can only borrow against the cash value not the death benefits and when you die the company will keep the cash value. Buy cheap term life insurance and invest the difference for 20, 25, or 30 years.
@LynxStarAuto Жыл бұрын
@@maridesmenageres ma'am. It seems that detail was misinterpreted by many on here. The guest imo did state that you can only borrow on the cash value throughout the interview, which has its perks, but I think few are actually doing the math on what that actual numerical value is.

One thing you want to keep in mind when it comes to selling that house after six months to pay back that life insurance loan... You're in a higher tax bracket selling that house after 6 months as opposed to holding it for over a year.... You might want to do some research to find out if it's actually worth It to take the hit on one year's worth of interest (3-5%) for the loan and wait longer than a year to sell that house at a lower task bracket. You might be better renting the house out for a year and then selling it. You could be talking about an 18% difference between the long-term capital gains vs. short-term capital gains. Just a thought.
