Is the Performance GTI louder and has this crackels and pops than the normal GTI? I had a testdrive with the new golf gti facelift but it was the normal one and it hasnt these exhaust crackls and pops... does anybody know it?

54 000€ for golf??? I got my GTI last year, Autobahn tornado red full equipped for 32 000 dollars. I guess US is cheaper. For the price you guys pay there I can get Shelby Mustang here 600 hp.

Berke Beyazıt True they are inefficient but you can't say the Shelby is unreliable because they still drive them from '60 and '70. Also it has Brembo brakes so I don't know why do you think it's not braking. And about the handling, it's one of the best cars on the market you can get.

I don't like the fully digital instrument cluster. The 2017 model had recessed ODOs that's looked nice. The infotainment doesn't look too bad as a full touch screen. Won't know how I feel about it until I see it in person. Also, there's no manual handbrake? :-(

ROW/Euro spec Mk7s never had a conventional handbrake. It's a NA spec only cost-saving measure. You pay less, you get less. That Active Info Display is optional for any Golf with the exception of the GTI Performance, which it gets as standard on most European markets.

Joshua Miller I just spoke with my dealer they are being offloaded today for showrooms this week. with that being said the 17's are heavily discounted. but I need the 18 Full led lights. 8 inch screen. U can get an se model with cloth seats. They wear much better and not as hot or cold as the leather. LED everything I was planning to change the tail lights on the 17 if I bought it anyway. Gonna take a look at one on Thursday.

beek. inc I was thinking about the same thing on the 17, and changing out the lights for the full LEDs. I also agree with the cloth seats as well on the SE. If you look at one of the 18’s this week, let me know your thoughts and I’ll do the same!

The inner white lit led (i'm pretty sure they're Bi-xenon though?, or is that the inner bulb?) box is only turned on for the golf R for obnoxious, little bit extra, reasons. Atleast stock they have the difference stock.

The main difference for my 2015 GTI is the dashboard, The rest is only a little bit different. Also the headlights are xenon in mine, not led. Driving modes are the same. I am very satisfied with my GTI, which has a similar color. Later on it has started being made here with manual hand brake and a little bit less powerful. Shame!

it is cheaper than a Golf R for a start, that is important for a lot of people and some people think this looks better than a Golf R, the red, the agressive front bumper, the clear design diffusor with 2 exhaust
