The Repton boxing club back in thelate sixties to the late seventies was the best team ever, victories in Denmark,Sweden, and the Phillips Halle Stadium in Dusseldorf, not forgetting The Isle of White was proof of the best amateur team.I was fortunate enough to return to Aalborg for a second time.I boxed for the met this time on loan from Repton. My boxing record 168 contests 42 defeats 34 split decisions 126 wins 43 inside the distance, and I was never stopped or disqualified. My vice captain was Graham Moughton did even more with over 300 bouts. There are many great boxers still connected ,if you wish to attend please contact the ROBS,kind regards David Nash captain of Repton 1968 to 1978

Amazing you managed to comment on Frankie Fraser when the real Repton Club fails to mension the Iconic team of 1967 to 1978 and I should know I was captain.i was voted captain by my peers, agreat crowd.I am writing a book on my days at Repton,I was offered a lot of money to turn pro, but I loved the club and my fellow pugalists and I won the same gold medal as Howard Winstone and Ken Buchanan and you can't buy those, cheers David

Should be a picture of a giant of a man 6th best fighter in the world. Boxing trainer's said he defied the laws of physics.. with his lightning fast handspeed and power.. forget his name but there's documentarys books the lot about him . Supposedly he had a thousand fights never lost one 😳 there's no footage tho his handspeed was so fast you couldn't record it 🤷 so they say.. forget his name but he's the closest he's the closest thing to in mankind to an actual superhuman with his insane genetics only one man every few hundred years are as genetically gifted as him.. and right now hes the man 🤦🤷 forget his name tho he's very private doesn't like talking about himself stays of social media

@@warcrypublishing I contacted you some months ago re my book, but received no reply.Being captain of the Repton I have plenty of stories to tell, not to mention the gold medal at the Leofric Hotel in Coventry I won,the same was won by Ken Buchannan and Howard Winstone, not bad company.Sorry you were not interested in helping me publish my book.but it is all about the great team at Repton and Tony Burns,George Odwell and some great stories,Regards David Nash
