Went to Cambodia in2018. Spent two days . Visited Angkor Wat, Bayan temple, Bantey shrey, and two more temples. I felt very proud about my Hindu heritage after seeing those magnificient structures. I fell in love with that country and its people. Siem reap city is very clean and friendly. There are four or five Indian restaurants. Beautiful country and temples. The history presented in this video is partially true. No Hindu sculpture was replaced except the main deity. All the remaining sculptures depicting Ramayana, Mahabharatha and the great scupture" Ksheera Sagara Mathanam" ie churning of the oceon by gods and demons - all are in tact. There are number of statues of Apsaras.

Its not just a temple. Its a complete city of the ancient kings.. Param i wished you shud have researched a bit more. Each structure has the kings ashes below in the foundation. Its as old as 800 century. The jungle engulfed the areas. God King Surya Varman came here and established his empire here. Its like a fort with proper town planning, water cannal etc.

I visited Angkor Wat in 2017 or temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu which was later converted into Buddhist temple. I also travel a lot in the country but I have never had the same experience as I had in Cambodia. I am wearing a cap. Cambodia is written on it too.

Was waiting for Angkor Wat vlog , eaderly. It's indeed a humongous temple. Actually, rains added a lot of freshness to the defining walls and carvings of the temple and its premises and green lawns. . How intelligently and mindfully every nook and corner of the temple and its premises had been structured. You did a good amount of homework, and briefed us , on the temple's , history and its existence. Those rats being used as land mine sniffers , is a perfect example of , nothing in nature us useless, if we know how to use it or them. Angkorvat temple is wonderful, original Hindu temple but converted into Bauddha temple. Outside walls are full of Hindus gods, Ramayana and Mahabharata carvings, Shivling. A detailed study is to be done. Pravin Mohan has done lot of research and his videos are available on KZbin in Hindi and English.
