That first case is stupid. No witnesses of evidentiary value, no bank records to show he profited, no communications that he organized with human traffickers, CCTV footage inconclusive (Can't see a weapon, can't see defendant), no evidence to him not being at his post beyond the Defense's opinion. Plenty of reasonable doubt due to a lack of evidentiary avenues the prosecutors didn't explore. Can't ask why the defendant wasn't at his post - or if he says he was at his post. Perhaps his post was somewhere else? Perhaps he was called away from there by a superior or had to run to the toilet and forgot to notify superiors? These would change the charge and trial drastically.

@@InsideAgameR I left some feedback about that case in particular. But they seem keen to improve the game, so I'm hopeful they will flesh it out - lot of potential.

The country is actually an inflection or a derived composition of the word Coward in Spanish. "Cobarde" in spanish we pronounce all the letters. I think that it would be fair to pronounce it like that tbh. Other than that seems interesting enough ! Lack of compiling evidence is almost ridiculous hahaha. wonder if family law or commercial law would be the same.

Hey great content. I usually binge watch your videos. I do have a question though. So games like these which has a story, I usually see them for the first time over here and after the first episode if I really enjoy it, I actually download the game and play it, rather than watch your other episodes but most of the times I come back to your other episodes so see a different perspective. You think this could be counter productive, you losing views because people might not come back for your episodes? Have you noticed such trends in your views count? Though I genuinely love your videos and will keep watching new content as it comes out.

yeah your 100 percent most lets plays etc dont do so well after first episode in all honesty for that exact reason people see if they like the game and then want to buy explore for themselves. in all honesty review channels would do alot better then what im currently soing where you show off the game and thats it

The second case in my opinion was reasonable because firstly of the medication It was revealed on the ground that there were some antidepressants and the CEO actually took them. In my opinion he was kinda guilty and the heated artgukent, lying about his past violence and his criminal records are pretty convincing.
@InsideAgameR7 ай бұрын
Yeah I was surprised by the outcome 😂
@Amyante5 ай бұрын
No, the pills were antidepressants and the boss takes anti stress meds. The antidepressants did have a disclaimer that it can make people suicidal though, so he was innocent.

Think it relates to "reasonable doubt"; there wasn't enough evidence to remove that reasonable doubt about the allegations. The onus is on the DA's office to remove it with evidence. He clearly knew there was reasonable doubt; which is why he agonized over the decision so much. It's tough because you can get caught second guessing yourself. But ofcourse when a case is built on circumstantial evidence, you need a lot of it to get over reasonable doubt, but it is possible. A judge's job isn't always easy it seems haha

Youre a bad judge. The defense doesnt have to prove anything. The Plaintiff has to prove their claim.
@Playtechy8 ай бұрын
These are legal concepts, not everyone has legal training and they certainly don't teach these things in school. Luckily it is a game and I think the purpose of the game is to start off "bad" and learn and get better, for a first time - these things are to be expected. I'm sure if you got a law student who had been studying law for 1 week, they'd make similar errors.
@sdaltonwx8 ай бұрын
@Playtechy This is true, however, one should keep in mind what country they're basing this game off of. If they're basing it off US law, then the term "innocent until proven guilty" comes into play. In this case, OP is right. It's all up to the prosecution to provide evidence of a guilty verdict. Not the other way around. In US court, the lawyers job of the defendant is to refute the claims by the prosecution. It's the prosecutors job to provide the evidence of a committed crime.
@Playtechy8 ай бұрын
@@sdaltonwx I think the vast majority of Western nations, if not all, operate on the presumption of Innocence in a criminal trial. It is the prosecution's role in these cases to prove the case 'beyond a reasonable doubt' and if there is reasonable doubt you must side with the defendant. A lack of evidence, lack of witnesses with evidentiary value, anything that is found to be lacking is marked against the prosecution's case and pushes towards a 'reasonable doubt'. It isn't for the defense to prove unreasonable doubt all the time; sometimes such as this case the prosecution's lack of evidence does it for them.
