Haunting video shows a teenager’s final hours. After recording the video, Tyler Turner boarded a plane to skydive with an instructor. However, the parachute failed to open and both men plummeted to their deaths in 2016. The Parachute Center in Lodi, California, has reportedly been linked to 28 deaths since 1985. It’s leaving many to wonder why the Parachute Center is still allowed to send people jumping out of planes. Inside Edition’s Lisa Guerrero sat down with the skydiving school’s founder, Bill Dause.

If it wasn’t skydiving with him you would’ve done it somewhere else… LOOK just because you can do something DOESNT mean you should. Aka motorcycle accidents, why feel bad for them? As soon as I saw the headline I immediately thought "I bet it's about the place in Acampo." Yep, I've done 3 tandem jumps from 3 different operations, one of them at this place. It was the most unorganized, chaotic, zero-pre jump training, turn-and-burn jump center imagineable. My jumpmaster thought it was funny to do backflips out of the plane without running it past me first. I couldn't believe it.

When I dove as a 30th bday gift, my best friend, and my family did all of their research on the dive company, it’s licensing, and the reviews had to pass before they went forward with surprising me. And before I decided to go forward, I asked for my tandem instructor’s experience. He had nearly 10,000 jumps under his belt. And his colleagues and mentors at that company had many, MANY more between them. When someone holds your (or a loved ones) life in their hands, you better be sure they’re good hands.

My boss took myself and a co worker to this business on a surprise it was my first time on a airplane needless to say I was terrified what was more so not comforting was walking in and seeing teenagers packing the parachutes upon waiting for the skydive everyone else was dressed and connected to their tandem instructor but my instructor was no where to be found eventually he comes out from the bathroom glossy eyed and introduced himself as Stoney he told me to put my coveralls on and attached us there was no instructions on what to do or expect out of pure bravado and ignorance I proceeded to the plane I will say the jump went off without incident but it doesn’t surprise me this place is the deadliest prayers to the families
