Good stuff, especially to the point on wasted movement! I'm an old head and a big fan of the game, especially goalies. Anyway, nowadays it seems like goalies try to make saves with their hands, without stepping to the ball first. Whether the step is forward or lateral, moving to the ball allows for an easier save with the hands and or body. Many times these are high percentage goals from great shooter/athlete's, but the goalie can give themselves a fighting chance when under fire. Studying game/practice tape, frame by frame, could help goalies be more efficient between the pipes. What are your thoughts? Thanks. -Anthony
