I love Europe especially would love to go to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, well all the Nordic countries. I couldn't stand the winter I always say, but we've been getting horrible winters in New Jersey USA with no fun involved terrible! Now this is going to really offend patriotic macho Gung Ho Americans, but I'll say it anyway. Our country is in the gutter. There is no way out now except some kind of violence and I wish we could have prevented it. I loved America growing up, but I can no longer love a country with so much corruption and suffering. We should be scorned by all the other countries except for the servicemen and people like myself getting screwed over. This is beautiful. We don't have this here. I would be comfortable in Norway and I especially love Norwegians. You are very warm and loving people and also tough and ready for action. You can't beat that! Norway is gonna come out like roses and blossom into a world power would be a huge dream to come true for me. All the best from an American songwriter who loves soldiers. Ben

Thank you for your heartfelt comment and I feel your pain. I am sorry to say that I am very worried about observing a growing level of corruption in politics here in Norway. The gaps between rich and poor have only increased the last 10 years. We have elected officials that doesn't give two shits about their own people, but do everything they can to please their masters in the EU and give away billions to useless international projects so they can have a pat on their back from the big guys. The distance between the people and those in power is just getting bigger. The trust that's existed between the people and those in power is slowly eroding away. It is still a good place to stay, but I can see the trends and I do not like where this is going.
